Desert safari

Leave the river behind for the golden dunes and open desert that rise just beyond Aswan’s west bank, the landscape of ancient Nubia.

The experience

Desert Safari from Aswan

Aswan is a desert city. Across the Nile from the Corniche, the green strip of palms ends abruptly and the sand begins: tall golden dunes, wide plateaus and a silence that feels a world away from the town.

A desert safari takes you out into that landscape, where the light is at its most beautiful early in the morning and towards sunset. Tell us how you would like to explore, who is travelling and when, and we will plan the route, transport and timing with you.
